"I'm in the Mood to Move"' is a song from the 1990 album GodWeenSatan: The Oneness.

"I'm in the Mood to Move" is an experimental rock song revolving around a bassline playing two instances of A an octave apart. For live performances, the bassline is transposed to E.
The vocals on the GodWeenSatan version are by Dean Ween and David Williams, who worked at the gas station with Dean. The vocals were recorded at Deaner's house after their shift one day.[1]
Live Performances[edit | edit source]
"I'm in the Mood to Move" is not known to have played live before 2001, but it was played frequently for a few months following its debut that year. In later years, the song has been only occasionally included in live sets.[2] A live recording from the 9/14/2001 anniversary concert was released on the album GodWeenSatan: Live.
The Dean Ween Group played the song live once in 2015.[3]
