Song Details[edit | edit source]
Recording and Composition[edit | edit source]
"Blackjack" is an experimental song with industrial influences. The entirety of the song revolves around an electronic melody in B major while the bass plays a repeated G# note. In its sole live performance, the bassline is transposed up to B.
Both Gene and Dean perform the vocals on this track together. Gener's vocal is heard in the left stereo channel, and Deaner is on the right. "Blackjack" is one of the few songs on GodWeenSatan to use a drum machine instead of real drums.
"Blackjack" appears on the Big Timmy Wasserman demo tape.[more needed here]

The only known live performance of this song was at the GodWeenSatan: Live show on 9/14/2001.[1]
