Live Spoken Intro[edit | edit source]
[From February 2nd, 1990]
- Dean: It's about those little mother fuckers who come around and it gets - what did you say?
- Gene: This is about a tick. This song is called Tick. It's about Ticks.
Lyrics[edit | edit source]
Official lyrics, handwritten by Dean Ween, were printed in the GodWeenSatan liner notes:
I feel a tick in my head, and he's sucking on my head
In the morning I'll be dead, if he doesn't leave my head
Why can't he go away? Why does he have to stay?
Maybe he wanna play, but I can only say
I'll get you, I'll burn you, I'll crush you, I'll flush you (down, down)
The toilet where you'll spiral (around, 'round)
Aw, tick! Mmm tick tick tick! Brrr tick!
I try to get rid of my plague, but I left some of his leg
He grew back pretty quick, so I stab the little prick
Now I cut my head, in the morning I'll be dead
Even after still, he'll find someone to kill
And he'll get you...[3]
