"Papa Zit" is a punk rock song in the key of D minor.
The lead vocals are by Gene Ween and the guitar is played by Dean Ween. Drums are also played by Dean Ween, and the bass is played by Andrew Weiss.
Live Performances[edit | edit source]
The song was played live as early as 1989 and has mostly remained a fairly common inclusion in live sets over the years, except for a span of about 5 years in the late 90s when it was not played at all.[1] Two live recordings have been officially released: from 12/9/1992 on At the Cat's Cradle, 1992, and from the 9/14/2001 anniversary concert on GodWeenSatan: Live.
