"Woman and Man" is a song by Ween from the 2007 album La Cucaracha.
Song Details[edit | edit source]
"Woman and Man" is a song in the key of A minor.
The lead vocals are sung by Gene Ween. Dean Ween plays guitar on the track, notably including an extended lead solo section. Debbie Reichard, Andrew Weiss's partner, plays the flute.[1]
At over ten minutes in length, "Woman and Man" is the longest song ever released by Ween on a studio album.
"Woman and Man" dates back to at least the spring of 2006, when Ween played it live nearly a year and half before the release of La Cucaracha. This early version featured some different lyrics, as well as being significantly shorter than the song would later become.[2] Ween played "Woman and Man" commonly on the La Cucaracha tour, and since then they have kept the song around on a more occasional basis.[3]
