It Freaks Me Out
"It Freaks Me Out" is an unreleased song by Ween.
Song Details[edit | edit source]
Although recorded as a Ween demo while the band was still together, "It Freaks Me Out" is often more associated with Gene Ween's solo career. The song dates back at least to late 2008, when Gene began playing it live with the Gene Ween Band; they played it regularly throughout their 2008-2009 tour.[1]
Lyrics[edit | edit source]
"No, you’re not alone," said the stone man
But once you start to break, you split in two
Spill back from the earth and cool it back down
Lay a good foundation, a pallet from the land
Bodies in conjunction, forming into man
It freaks me out how much you fucking suck
Snails and donkey tails surround my brainstem
Barking failure makes me want to cry
Little people soothe me when I'm lonely
Sneak into my bedroom after you have gone
It freaks me out how much you fucking suck
Experts in the field never doubt me
Paper raindrops falling from the sky
Adding colors to a mind of fantasy
Polling all the monkeys to find the one who’s right
Living like a monster, recoiling from the light
It freaks me out how much you fucking suck
It freaks me out how much you fucking suck
It freaks me out how much you fucking suck [2]
