"Monique the Freak" is a song by Ween. Originally a Mollusk outtake, it was included in the semi-official 1999 release Craters of the Sac, then was later released in an altered form on the 2005 odds-and-ends compilation Shinola, Vol. 1.

"Monique the Freak" is in the key of B minor.
The song is thought to have been originally recorded in 1995 during the Mollusk sessions.[?] The version released on Shinola, Vol. 1 is significantly altered, remixed, and shortened.
"Monique the Freak" is commonly regarded as bearing a strong stylistic influence from Prince.

"Monique the Freak" has been played live a few times, mostly in 2011 and 2017. It was not ever played before the release of Shinola.[1]
