"Pink Eye (On My Leg)" is an instrumental song by Ween from the 1997 album The Mollusk.
Song Details[edit | edit source]
Recording and Composition[edit | edit source]
"Pink Eye" is in the key of G major.
The song was written and recorded in early 1996 at a rental house in New Hope, Pennsylvania, after Ween's previous rented beach house flooded.[1] It has been noted that the drum machine track and synthesizer refrain are similar to an unreleased song from the Mollusk sessions, "Kim Smoltz".
Live Performances[edit | edit source]
"Pink Eye (On My Leg)" was not played live for many years following its release on The Mollusk. However, during the Ween hiatus, it was introduced and played numerous times by the Dean Ween Group. Following the 2016 reunion, Ween has played the song occasionally.[2]
