"Koko" is an unreleased song by Ween. It is an outtake from The Mollusk.

Song Details[edit | edit source]

The demo studio version of "Koko" was recorded in 1995 during the first beach house sessions for The Mollusk, and can be found on the semi-official The Mollusk Sessions. "Koko" is believed to have been mixed for the final Mollusk album, but left off. This knowledge is due to a newsgroup post from 1997 by someone who had apparently heard an early version of the album, and described the song "Koko".[1] If such a final mixed version exists, it is not in circulation.

However, the song predates those sessions and may have been originally written for Chocolate and Cheese. It was first played live in the fall of 1994 and was played commonly on the Chocolate and Cheese tour. Since that tour, live performances of "Koko" have been infrequent.[2]
