Tape & insert for Music for Drunk Irish Homos

Music for Drunk Irish Homos is an unreleased and uncirculated demo tape by Ween.

Details[edit | edit source]

The tracklist contains all 14 songs that would eventually be released on The Mollusk, as well as three unreleased songs: "Koko" (the demo version of which would later appear on the The Mollusk Sessions bootleg), "Kevin the Honky", and "Goodbye Little Baby Green". Of these songs, only "Kevin the Honky" is in circulation.

One theory about Music for Drunk Irish Homos is that it could contain all of the mixed songs for The Mollusk. This is due to the fact that it contains every actual Mollusk track as well as two more songs ("Koko" and "Kevin the Honky") that are confirmed to have been mixed for the album but were ultimately left off.

Whether the song "Goodbye Little Baby Green" is an entirely unheard lost song or the real name of a circulating song is unknown.

The tape has never been circulated and all that is definitively known about it is an image of the handwritten tape insert, posted by Dean Ween on Facebook in 2014.[1]
