"Transitions" is a song by Ween. Originally a Mollusk outtake, it was later released in a slightly altered form on the 2005 odds-and-ends compilation Shinola, Vol. 1.

Song Details[edit | edit source]

"Transitions" was not part of the original 1995 beach house recording sessions for The Mollusk; it was probably recorded sometime in 1996.

"Transitions" is not known to have been played live before Ween's 2012 hiatus. Following the band's reforming in 2016, the song has enjoyed a somewhat regular live rotation.[1] In addition, Gene Ween played the song regularly in the fall of 2014 with his solo band Freeman.[2]
