Europe "90" is an upcoming compilation album to be released by Ween for Record Store Day, alongside a repressing of Aaron Freeman (Gene Ween)'s album Freeman.
Description and History
Europe "90" was teased on February 3, 2026, with a cryptic Instagram post of Boognish and the caption "Is this thing on, mang?". It was officially announced the day after on February 4, 2026.
The blurb on the Record Store Day website reads as follows:
This is the reality of Brown. 3LPs of previously unreleased Ween. Includes the long lost studio sessions recorded in Eindhoven on Christmas Day 1990 on LP1 plus the extremely Brown Live in Basel "1990" live show (which may be the best Ween show of all time per Dean Ween) from either December 1990 or January 1991 on LPs 2 and 3. Limited Edition release for Record Store Day 2026.[1]

Tracks 1-4 are taken from The Eindhoven EP. Tracks 5-21 are taken from a live performance in Basel, Switzerland, ~January 1991.

Deaner released his own copy of the live portion present to his personal Internet Archive page[2] in 2016, accompanied by this description. Excerpts were used in promotion of the compilation.

We rolled into Basel Switzerland while promoting our first album by touring Europe from September of 1990 to March of 1991. We lived in our tour manager's apartment (Rene De Wever) in Eindhoven, Holland for 6 MONTHS and would jump off to other countries in his Renault Le Car with our tape deck and play gigs for gas and shelter, the three of us. This is us in Basel, Switzerland in front of NO PEOPLE (except Rene), until the end of the gig when we had 5 people. Our sound guy was named Pidah, and this is the best Ween show of all time. On my birthday I GIVE IT TO YOU. I've submitted this for consideration as a live Ween record and no one has ever gotten back to me --- so here it is..............I humbly lay this at your feet.........listen up and learn what Brown can do for you.....this is pure Ween........”
