"The Star-Spangled Banner" is the national anthem for the United States, adopted in 1931.

The song was originally written by Francis Scott Key in 1814 as a poem and was set to the music of John Stafford Smith's "The Anacreontic Song" in the 1770's.

Ween's first performance[1] of the song was in Basil, Switzerland during their GodWeenSatan tour, which will be on the upcoming Europe "90" live album.
