Song Details[edit | edit source]
The original version of "Mango Woman" was recorded on June 5, 1992 at Greg & Pat Frey's home studio during demo sessions for Chocolate and Cheese (despite being released on a Pure Guava single). This demo version circulates as part of the Chocolate and Cheese Demos: Summer 1992 bootleg.
The first known live performance of "Mango Woman", from 12/9/1992 on the Pure Guava tour, can be heard on the At the Cat's Cradle album. "Mango Woman" is a very rare live Ween song, and after the Chocolate and Cheese tour it was not played for over two decades until 2016.[1]
