Lawrence "Larry" Curtin, also credited as "The Maharishi Lawrence E. Curtin", is a friend of the band who contributed vocals to some of their early songs. He is best known as the voice of the speech at the end of "Marble Tulip Juicy Tree". He also performs backing vocals and the whistling part on "I Saw Gener Cryin' in His Sleep" and lead vocals on the Pod-era demo "Sitting Up in Aaron's Room".
