Yucassettes (sometimes spelled Yuck Cassettes) was a fanzine and homemade music label created and operated by Dean Ween from about 1984 to 1986[?], when he was in high school.
Some early Ween tapes were released on Yucassettes (including Mrs. Slack, Erica Peterson's Flaming Crib Death, and Ween/Smersh) as well as music by other local artists and bands.

"Yuck!" Zine[edit | edit source]
“Yuck!” itself was a free punk music fanzine written and edited by Dean Ween. Examples of regular content included:
- Dean interviewing bands from various local punk scenes around the USA, as well as some larger touring acts (including, notably, an interview with The Minutemen in an early issue[6]).
- Live concert reviews
- Cassette reviews
- Submissions from readers including artwork and cross-promotions
