The Deaner Album
The Deaner Album is the debut album of the Dean Ween Group, released on October 6th, 2016.
Description
When interviewed about the album, Dean Ween stated he was "inspired [to make the album] [...] when [he] started the band"[1] and that he wanted to "focus on [his] guitar playing".[2] He also stated his favorite song off the record was "Bundle of Joy".[2]
The album features at least two songs written for Ween: "Dickie Betts" (an instrumental initially referred to as "Allman Sunset" during a 1998 Ween live performance, before being subsequently referred to Dickie Betts during a performance in the year 2000.) and "Shwartze Pete" (written as a scrapped theme song for The Oblongs named "Little Peter").
A music video was made for the song "Exercise Man", which was released on December 6, 2016.[3]
