"I Get a Little Taste of You" is a song by Z-Rock Hawaii (a collaboration between Ween and Boredoms), released in 1996.

Song Details[edit | edit source]

Recording and Composition[edit | edit source]

"I Get a Little Taste of You" is in the key of A# major. It was likely recorded in the fall of 1993, at the same office space Ween were recording Chocolate and Cheese, as it was played on the Chocolate and Cheese tour.

The lead vocals on the studio version are sung by Dean Ween[1], with screaming provided by Yamantaka Eye. However, Gene Ween typically sings it live.

Live Performances[edit | edit source]

Ween played "I Get a Little Taste of You" frequently on the Chocolate and Cheese tour. After that tour, they have continued to play the song occasionally.[2]

Music video[edit | edit source]

"I Get a Little Taste of You" was the only song from Z-Rock Hawaii to produce a music video, which currently circulates in poor quality.

Lyrics[edit | edit source]

Sometimes it's not enough
You take a noonday stroll
Or play some rock and roll
Or smoke another bowl
But the only thing I do when I find I'm feeling blue
Is get a little taste of you

Sometimes I feel so good
Sometimes I feel so bad
Often I get mad
Even when I'm glad
I haven't got a clue but I know just what to do
Get a little taste of you

I get a little taste of you
I get a little taste of you
I get a little taste of you
I get a little taste
Suck a little face
Taste a little waste with you

I get a little taste of you
I get a little taste of you
I get a little taste of you
I get a little taste
Suck a little face
Smear a little paste on you

I get a little taste of you
I get a little taste of you
I get a little taste of you
I get a little taste
I suck a little face
Taste a little waste with you
