"1999" is a Prince song that was covered live by Ween at a New Years Eve show celebrating the new year of 1999. They then repeated the song twice on the first two nights of the new year, and later played the song sporadically into 2000.[1] The song itself was written by Prince and was the title track of the 1982 album 1999. It remains one of his most popular and well-known songs.
