--Thefakemrsmoltz (talk) 12:46, 3 February 2025 (UTC) There is a song called 'Time 4 Yourself' by Freeman, Curtin and Weimar on the New Hope Is A Bad Scene compilation, I'm assuming it's the same song? If so then it's not Ween, but it is Gener.

Also, can we get some references for the "fake quebec" Limewire leak? I saw there's a couple of old reddit threads that mention it but there's not much info there.

--Thefakemrsmoltz (talk) 09:53, 1 March 2025 (UTC) Notes on “Chocolate Town was (not) written by Mean Ween” : This is a tricky one, because obviously it’s not possible to fully cite a *lack* of credible evidence for something. If anyone tries to use this as an argument, please remind them that the burden of evidence was always on ween dot net when they made the claim in the first place, and still is. You can also remind them that “but why would someone make this up?” might be one valid question to consider, but it doesn’t count as evidence just because you can’t answer it. I’ve avoided speculating on that, this isn’t the place for it. The only thing that can be definitively cited is the fact that the claim was made. Nonetheless, I’ve tried to provide a little bit of circumstantial evidence to support the idea that this is very unlikely to be true, just to give people something slightly more substantial to look into if they're interested. But I want to emphasize again that it’s not actually our job, or Ween’s job, to refute unsubstantiated claims. Remember that if you ever see someone trying to both-sides an issue like this.
