Recording and Composition

"Nicole, Pt. 4" is an experimental noise song with industrial elements. It is one of Ween's longest recorded songs at just over 10 minutes in length. Due to its atonal nature, a key cannot be discerned.

It should be noted that its extended length and nightmarish tones are the result of being heavily slowed down. When sped up, it is revealed that the song consists of someone, presumably Gene Ween, ranting about how "the weak get weaker" over a drum machine beat.[2]

Lyrics

The weak
The weak
The weak
The weak are gonna get weaker
The weak are gonna get weaker

The weak are gonna get weaker

The weak are gonna get weaker
This is all in my mind
And nothing
Nothing comes without a little pain

The weak get weaker
The weak get weaker
The weak get weaker
The weak get weaker
Inspiration comes from love
Where's the love?
Where's the love?
Where's the love?
Where's the love?
Where's the love?

The weak get weaker

Try a little tenderness

I got angry
I got angry
And I'm taking it all out on you
What's [???]
What am I supposed to do?
I'm taking it out on you
Trying to be cool
Is that what I'm supposed to do?
Trying to be cool
Is that what I should do?
Angry
I got angry

The weak get weaker
The weak get weaker
The weak get weaker
The weak get weaker
The weak get weaker
The weak get weaker

Weaker
Weaker
You call this a song?
You call this a song?
With words and music?
Now I got angry
I got angry
I got angry
