Song Details[edit | edit source]

Recording and Composition[edit | edit source]

"Love Theme From Skinheads Kicking Your Ass" is a hard rock song in the key of G major.

The song was initially written for Ween many years prior to Rock2, as a potential theme for King of the Hill, though the band ultimately did not submit it.[1] Dean Ween described the song as a "driving rebel hillbilly thing".

Deaner credited drummer Claude Coleman for inspiring the title.[2][3]

Alternate versions[edit | edit source]

A vastly shorter demo version titled "Skinhead Ass Kicking Jam" was produced by Deaner sometime in 2007 or 2008,[2] and is in circulation.

Live Performances[edit | edit source]

"Love Theme From Skinheads Kicking Your Ass" was a frequent inclusion in Dean Ween Group sets starting in 2018, though the song was debuted all the way back in 2015.[4]
