"Jelly" is a song by Ween from their 1986 cassette Erica Peterson's Flaming Crib Death, with two rerecorded versions on the following cassette, The Crucial Squeegie Lip.

Recording and Composition[edit | edit source]

Gene Ween sings the lead vocals and Dean Ween plays guitar and drums in all versions. A version lasting 1:31 appears on Prime 5 and The Crucial Squeegie Lip, and a shorter 1:21 version appears on Erica Peterson's Flaming Crib Death. A second part, called "Jelly II," which is 0:59, also appears on The Crucial Squeegie Lip.

Live Performances[edit | edit source]

The song is only known to have been played twice, in 1987 and 1988.[1] A recording of the 1988 performance is featured on the A-side of The Live Brain Wedgie!/Wad Excerpts.
