"Jelly" is a song by Ween from their 1986 cassette Erica Peterson's Flaming Crib Death, with two rerecorded versions on the following cassette, The Crucial Squeegie Lip.

Song Details

Recording and Composition

Gene Ween sings the lead vocals and Dean Ween plays guitar and drums in all versions. A version running at 1:31 appears on Prime 5 and The Crucial Squeegie Lip, and a shorter 1:21 version appears on Erica Peterson's Flaming Crib Death. A re-recording, called "Jelly II," which runs at 0:59, also appears on The Crucial Squeegie Lip.

Live Performances

The song is only known to have been played twice, in 1987 and 1988.[1] A recording of the 1988 performance is featured on the A-side of The Live Brain Wedgie!/Wad Excerpts. Both performances bore more of a resemblance to "Jelly II" than the original.
