A final pod mix for I Wuz Nuthin' also written as "I Was Nothing" was semi-officially released to Dean Ween's YouTube channel on September 20th, 2016[1] to celebrate The Pod's 25th anniversary, this version being a final album mix of the long circulating Bilboa demo of the song. The original studio version of the song was recorded on during the Tango Studio Sessions on Christmas Day of 1990 in Eindhoven, Netherlands, while the band was on tour in Europe in support of the GodWeenSatan album. It was later released officially on the compilation Europe "90".
Live Performances
Despite dating back to The Pod sessions, "I Wuz Nuthin'" is not known to have been played live until the winter of 2000-2001, and even then only twice. Much later, the Dean Ween Group brought the song back and played it often throughout 2018. Still later again, Ween properly reintroduced the song for several more performances in 2021. It became a mainstay in the ensuring tours[2]
