Recording and Composition[edit | edit source]

Ween was approached to write music for Grounded for Life by Ben Vaughn, music supervisor of the show, around 2000. Ween agreed to write for the show, on the condition they never wanted to meet anyone from the show.[2] It was first used in the premiere episode "Lily B. Goode", which debuted on January 10, 2001 on Fox.[3]

Additional cues were also written for the show, including "Disturbo", "Dreamy" and "Carlos", but it's unknown if these were ever used for the show.[2] Music for the show was partially done with Pro Tools, as they required more editing.[4]

An MP3 of the song was officially released on the Chocodog merch page around April 2001.[5]
