"Can U Taste the Waste?" is a stoner/industrial metal song with sludge metal influences. The instrumental in the studio version revolves around two power chords, E5 and A5. For modern live performances, it is transposed down to D5 and G5.
"Can U Taste the Waste?" appears on the Big Timmy Wasserman demo tape.

For two decades, "Can U Taste the Waste?" was virtually unheard of at Ween shows, except for a single performance in 1995 on the Chocolate and Cheese tour.[1] However, the song was finally revived in 2021.[2]
